Ecogenia’s Board of Directors are dedicated professionals who bring a wealth of public and private sector experience and are committed to driving tangible climate action and community impact through youth civic service. They ensure our work remains transparent and guide our strategy during our critical founding years. While we continue to test and refine our model in the Greek landscape, they help us raise awareness and identify funding for our work to ensure that we continually meet our mission. Friends of Ecogenia – Board of Directors
Friends of Ecogenia (FoE) is Ecogenia’s sister organization; a 501(c)(3) registered in the United States of America with the mission of building interest and meaningful engagement for Ecogenia with Greek diaspora networks across the world. The Board of Directors of FoE is fundamental in supporting Ecogenia’s mission in word and in deed, working with young adults of Greek heritage and their families to “serve” Greece by bringing Ecogenia’s vision to fruition. To do this work, the FoE Board also benefits from a strong network of Ambassadors in the Diaspora. Ecogenia was legally established in September 2021. To reference our Articles of Association click here.

Ecogenia is the 1st climate corps in Greece to mobilize youth in critical climate action. The organization empowers youth by providing them with skills-based training and paid opportunities to serve their country’s environment, while reinforcing local communities by leveraging human and other resources to build climate resilience on the ground.
