Ecogenia’s Service Projects

Olympus Service Project
In the context of this project, Ecogenia partnered with the Network of Cities with Lakes to do a capacity building exchange in the Municipality of Agia, Larissa. Along with our partner crews from the California Conservation Corps, and under the supervision of Dr Stavroula Strolia, Head of the Larissa Antiquities Tax Office, we maintained the grounds of the archeological site at Velika Castle. Ecogenia is the first NGO in Greece that promotes sustainability through civic engagement, training and employment opportunities for young people. Through a service year model, Ecogenia connects Greek youth with organisations dedicated to creating sustainable solutions to environmental and societal challenges.
